How we work: cause → signs → remedy
- Find the cause. How the condition affects you: which muscles are weak or stiff, how long ago it started, and your other health conditions.
- Read your signs. Strength, movement, balance, speech and daily activities, plus your hospital reports and scans.
- Plan the remedy. Treatment chosen for you, not a standard package.
What treatment may include
Treatment depends on your condition. Your doctor decides on it after discussing it with you. It may include:
- Herbal medicines to take at home
- Supportive therapies, for example Shashtika Shali Pinda Sweda (warm rice-and-milk poultice) and Sarvanga Abhyanga (full-body warm oil massage)
- Movement, diet and daily-routine guidance for you and your family
What to expect
- First visit: 45–60 minutes with the doctor. Bring your hospital discharge notes, scans and your list of medicines. A family member is welcome to come with you.
- Your plan: explained clearly, so you know what each step is for.
- Therapy courses, where needed, are planned around your condition, so their length differs from person to person.
- Follow-up visits to check progress and adjust your plan.
Go to a hospital first if…
- Signs of a new stroke: face drooping, arm or leg weakness, or trouble speaking. Go to hospital immediately.
- A sudden, very severe headache
- A seizure (fit) or sudden confusion
- Sudden loss of vision or balance
Ayurvedic care is not a substitute for emergency care. If you have any of these, please get medical help the same day.
Common questions
Should I stop the medicines my other doctor prescribed?
No. Please don’t stop or change any prescribed medicine without proper medical advice.
When can I start after a stroke?
Only once your hospital team says you are medically stable. Bring your discharge notes to your first visit.
Can a family member come with the patient?
Yes, and we encourage it. Family members often help with home routines between visits.
