Problems we commonly see

  • Supportive care focused on comfort and quality of life
  • Support during and after intensive treatments such as chemotherapy
  • Supportive care for long-term illness

Not sure if yours fits? Ask us. We’ll tell you honestly whether we can help.

How we work: cause → signs → remedy

  1. Find the cause. What is affecting your comfort most: tiredness, appetite, sleep, pain or stress.
  2. Read your signs. How you feel day to day, along with the reports from your treating hospital.
  3. Plan the remedy. Treatment chosen for you, not a standard package.

What treatment may include

Treatment depends on your condition. Your doctor decides on it after discussing it with you. It may include:

  • Gentle therapies for comfort, for example Abhyanga (warm oil massage) and Padabhyanga (foot massage)
  • Diet and daily-routine advice to support appetite, sleep and energy
  • Herbal medicines, only where your doctor finds them safe for you

What to expect

  • First visit: 45–60 minutes with the doctor. Bring your hospital reports, treatment summary and your list of medicines.
  • Your plan: explained clearly, so you know what each step is for.
  • Follow-up visits to check progress and adjust your plan.

Go to a hospital first if…

  • High fever, especially during or after chemotherapy
  • Severe pain that isn’t controlled
  • Breathlessness or heavy bleeding

If you have any of these, contact your treating hospital straight away.

Common questions

Should I stop the medicines my other doctor prescribed?
No. Please don’t stop or change any prescribed medicine without proper medical advice.

Is this instead of my hospital treatment?
No. Supportive care does not replace treatment from your hospital team.

Can a family member come along?
Yes. Family members are welcome and often help with comfort routines at home.
